28-03-10	Oude Pekela, training After a long winter finally Xayenne and Awatnou could train on the racetrack in Oude Pekela, it was very exciting for us to see Xayenne run her first run after her injury last year, butt she did great and had a lot of fun just like Awatnou .
18-03-10	Schiphol, Makenna en Ludo Finally Deborah and I could pick up our whippets from Amsterdam airport. After a flight that took 7 hours we finally took Makenna and Ludo in our arms. Makenna was born on 6 november 2009 in North Carolina at Shannon down whippets, Shannon placed a webcam so we could see the birth of Winnie's litter.This was the first time for us to see a pup of us to be born, Makenna was the only bitch of this litter and we contacted Krys and Shannon and claimed Makenna we were very happy that Krys and Shannon promised us Makenna.Thats why her pedigree name is Claim to fame. Krys gave all wnippets a calling name,she explained us why she called her Makenna, it means a gift of God and that she is for us. She has a great personality with a fine caracter.
26-04-09	Cavom run Oude Pekela Sunday Xayenne run her first competition of this year on Oude Pekela, and finished first in a time off 23.59 sec.
19-10-08	International run Oude Pekela Sunday we went to the international championships in Oude Pekela with Xayenne and she did very well. In the finals she had to compeed with her sister Xandres,Xayenne went first out of the startbox and in a very exciting race her sister went first and Xayenne went second a great performens from Xayenne knowing that her sister Xandres is Dutch champion and went third at the World championship. With her had up she took place on the podium. Time. Xandres 22.77 sec. and Time.Xayenne 23.16 sec.
11-10-08	Championships Jubbega Saturday we went to the clubchampionships in Jubbega, unfortunately was Xayenne the only A-Class bitch, but she had to run with B-Class and some A-Class dogs, both times she won with a time of 22.71 sec. ( 350 mtr. ) and recieved the Friese deck. She went clubchampion A-Class bitches after a great en fantastic organised weekend. Jazz and Noa also had to run without competition and did very well, there was no time measured for Jazz butt Noa had a time of 24.06 and of course we where very proud.
05-10-08	National race Jubbega Sunday was the day that Xayenne could try in the A-Class bitches, unfortunely there were many cancels because the weather was very bad it rained the whole day, so there where 3 A-Class bitches at the start. Xayenne won the series in a time of 23.20 sec ( 350 mtr. ) but the jury canceled the rest of the race because the bad weather made the track to dangerous to finish the game, so Xayenne went first because she had the best time in the serie.
14-09-08	Lelystad zilveren Lelyren. Xayenne again won her third race to win the silver lely in Lelystad in a time off 22.79 sec. ( 350 mtr. ) and with this win she promote to the A-class bitches.
31-08-08	Oude Pekela, Bas Meys ren Xayenne won for the second time in Oude Pekela the final in the B-class bitches with a time of 23.34 sec. (350 mtr.).
24-08-08	Jubbega, Wietze van Dijkren For the first time on the racetrack Xayenne v.d Spaarnemeute (Zoe) went first to win de Silver pompeblad. In a great final she went first over the finish in the B-Classe in a time of 22.86 sec. (350 meters).
25-11-07	Joy youthwinster 2007 at Winner in Amsterdam Today Joy has become youthwinster at the Winner in Amsterdam. At first Jazz had to go in de ring and she reached the 5th place with excellent. Then it was Joy's turn and she reached the first place and received the title Youthwinster and her second youth CAC. She had to go back in the ring for best female dog and reached the second place and received a reserve CAC and of course a qualification for the CRUFTS in Birmingham (England).
06-10-07	Zwolle Jazz and Joy joined today. It went very well, it was Jazz's first turn and he became the first in his class. Then I had to walk again with Jazz and he ended on the second place and was given a reserve CAC and a reserve CACIB. Then it was Joy's turn and won the first place and het first youth CAC was the result of that.
05-08-07	Leuven (Belgium) On Sunday we compited in Leuven at the dogshow with Jazz and Joy Jazz won his class ( Intermediate class ) with the mark Excellent, Joy won the youth class en became best youthdog ( youth BOB ) and she was aloud to compited in the ring of honour with all youth dogs of all breed and became third a great result for our little girl. 24-06-07	Brussels Dogshow This weekend we compited in the Brussels Dogshow with Jazz and Joy. Jazz in the intermediate class and Joy in the youth class. At 13.00 hour the judging of the whippets began with Jazz first and then Joy a little later, both went third with the mark. Excellent and both received a diploma and a cup for excellent dog a good result after a nice day in the Expo of Brussel.
16-06-07	Flevodogshow Show report Jazz (1 with excellent): 19 months. Beautifull racerepresentative. nice height and lenght, nice neck and nice topline. Good head and expression, correct ears and nice eyes, correct set of teeth. Strong developed body, good front and good angulation behind, powerfull bone and great muscular, nice movement. Show report Joy (2 with excellent): 9 months, Good young bitch, good standard, nice neck and topline, great head correct skull, correct ears. Light eyes, correct teeth, already build body, good angulation in front and behind, somewhat unstable in movement but at the right time shows great movement.
09-06-07 10-06-07	Jazz and Joy both in Weferlingen (Germany) With Jazz and Joy we compited this weekend in the dogshow in Weferlingen, with Joy in the youthclass and Jazz in the intermediate class we arrived on saterday. After a glass of champagne the competition began, first Joy we only signed her in for the saterday, Joy liked to show her self and did great and got a the highest mark Excellent, a great result for our Joy she is just nine months. Next was Jazz his turn and he also showed himself and became second both days with the mark Excellent also a great result, he also received a VDH championspoint his first. A very succesfull and very nice weekend.
26-05-07	Jazz for the first time abroad ! This weekend was Jazz first time abroad in Gelsenkirchen ( Germany ), together with Joy who we took with us to get used to the ring.With us went the breeder of Jazz ( Jose Cornelisse ) with her Irish wolfshound Erin's Eyecatcher Fionnmae. We spend the weekend at her house in Lelystad. It was a great show and we enjoyed very much, there where 106 whippets attended and they all walked in the ring of honour, Jazz got a great mark Excellent and we where very proud of him.Erin the irish wolfshound from Jose got a CAC / Bos what made our day greater than it already was. It was a great day for all of us and the german sausage was delicious.
18-05-07 19-05-07 20-05-07	Triatlon weekend Leek Last weekend began the triathlon weekend on the coursigtrack in Leek. 3 off our dogs compited this weekend: Ace, Zoe and Noa. All three did very well and enjoyed a great weekend, as you can see on the pictures. We also enjoyed very much of all sighthounds who where present, it was a great weekend for all of us and as usual very good organized.
09-04-07	Dogshow Leeuwarden Today we went to the dogshow in Leeuwarden also not far from our home. We only signed Jazz in and now in the intermediate class,so for the first time he was aloud to compite with a little bit older dogs.At nine we arrived in Leeuwarden and signed Jazz in at the ringtable,There were many dogs listed and the whippets were last in line so we had to wait for our turn So we had time to look at other dogs and do some shopping.At 13.30 it was our turn and Jazz had to show what he is worth,but is was not his day. Aldo it was not his day he went first with the mark: Excellent,of course a great result. When he got in to the ring for best ( male ) dog two other whippets went before him,this is not a shame.
04-03-07	Martinidogshow Today the Martinidogshow in Groningen for us a homegame, so we didn't have to get up at 04.00 and have a long carride, but we got up at 07.00 and left our house at 09.00 and after a few minutes we arrived at the Martiniplaza. With Jazz in the youth class and Joy in the puppy class we signed in two dogs. After the Barsoi and the Saluki it was the turn for the Whippets. Jazz the new Dutch Youth Champion was first in line and again he won the youth class with the mark Excellent and became best male dog and got his second cac to became Dutch Champion, he needs four cac's to become that, so he is now half way and of course we are super proud, we shared this with family en friends who were also present, of course we live in Groningen. Also he received the title BOS. Of course our eyes went to our little Joy, for her it was the first time she compited in a show in the puppy class and with almost tears in our eyes she became best puppy with the highest ranking very promising a great result for us and our little girl. Later on the day she walked in the ring of honour a great experience for us. After we received the two gilt medals we walked home.
17-02-07	Spotlight Fionnmae Dutch youth champion Championsclubmatch Kerkwijk At 06.00 we left for Kerkwijk with Jazz and Joy. Joy went along to get used to the atmosphere of a dogshow. At 09.00 we arrived at the local Dogcenter to sign in for the show.Jazz had to take on seven other youth dogs, the competition was large, despite of this, he did great and won with the mark Excellent and got two youth cac's which made him Dutch youth champion, after all pictures were taken and receiving the trophy, we left full of proud homewards.
27-01-07	Newyearscoursing Ronostrand This year began with a coursing on Ronobeach, always a great day for our dogs. We took all five dogs with us. After a welcome speech of our chairman we went to the other side of the beach to run our first course. Zoe took on Ace and left him behind,it's always great to see those two run together. Because Joy is too little Noa and Jazz had to run against eachother and Noa won. After a glass of gluhwein ( good organized ) we went to the canteen for a cup of coffee and something to eat. In the afternoon the dogs had there second run and again lots of speed and joy. After a great day for our dogs and us we went home.A compliment for the organisation is at it's place.
17-12-06	Dogshow Wijchen Our last show of 2006 was in Wijchen, again a few hours drive.We left at 06.00 and we where at Wijchen about 09.00,the road was very busy and the parkinglot was 2 kliometers from the building so we where just in time to sign in. We went to ring 11, where it was a little bit cold,so Jazz had to wear his jumper.Of course we met several whippet owners and it was great to talk to eachother.After the show of the poodles it was our turn to show Jazz.Jazz had a good day and went first.A first place with the mark excellent,his second youth cac,that means just 1 cac to go and he can call himself Dutch youth champion.After a succesfull day we went home to our other dogs,they where glad to see us.
05-11-06	Dogshow Bleiswijk With optimism we left for our next show to Bleiswijk and after we signed in we had to wait for our turn.Unfortunately Jazz had not his day and did not want to walk in the ring,spite the judge let him walk twice,but still he refused.He went second with the mark excellent and of course we where proud of him,and we will see at the next show. Together we had a great day and went home to our other whippets.
29-10-06	Dogshow Utrecht The second show for Jazz was in Utrecht and we left at 06.00 after we picked up Jazz his breeder Jose ( Fionnmae ) we arrived at 08.30 in Utrecht. After we signed in we waited for our turn.Jazz did great in the ring and won with the mark excellent and proud we where. As every whippetowner nows you have to have 3 times number 1 with the mark excellent to become Dutch Youthchampion and this was his first.
16-09-06	Dogshow Zwolle Full of confidence we left early for Zwolle with Jazz for the championshipshow ( youth class ).After we signed in we had to wait before Jazz went into the ring he did very well and became second with the mark excellent.After some shopping we went home to join with our other whippets.
